I am lucky enough to have photographed a wedding at the beautiful Aldermaston Manor, Set in the West Berkshire countryside; Aldermaston Manor is a stunning English country house.

The manor at Aldermaston became the property of Sir Robert Archard in 1115 as a gift from King Henry I, in 1981. the house was restored, and converted into a hotel and conference centre.

The present owners bought the estate in 1997 and now lease it as two seperate parts, The Manor that you see today and Portland House.

Lillibrooke Manor is a uniquely really beautiful medieval manor house with a fantastic barn as the wedding venue near Maidenhead in Berkshire.

The Great Barn was built in the mid-19th century and can seat up to 170 people (more with a marquee). The restoration is to the highest standard. The beautiful wooden floor is marvellous for dancing.

It is also possible to have an outdoor wedding in the courtyard.  The hexagonal Animal Engine House has lovley hanging baskets and flowers, it is a charming, if not an unusual setting for some unique photographs.

This characterful venue is surrounded by the walled garden of a vineyard and a drinks reception may be held in the pretty Courtyard with its central fountain if the weather is fine.
